This 19-acre property is one of the first of its kind “edible resorts” with over 100 varieties of tropical fruits growing right outside your door.
Accommodations are beautiful rooms each with a raindrop shower, private patio, and surrounded by hummingbirds, two restaurants with fresh & healthy island food (we serve mainly vegetarian & vegan as well as fish and chicken and some meat options for the ones who choose), a health spa for massages, etc., as well as two swimming pools and a hot tub overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

I'm a product of the product. I've been under Dr Jay's mentorship for many years and it has helped me to improve leaps and bounds. When I tell you my life has completely transformed, I mean it. When I met Dr Jay my life was a total mess.
I experienced huge FINANCIAL BURDEN like I literally had no bank account.
I DIVORCED my husband and had to parent children with little or no spousal support.
I juggled the difficulties surrounding an AGING PARENT.
In short You have your own challenging experiences where life be lifin' and you still have to show up for your loved ones, your colleagues, and your client. Allow me to share how I was able to manage this and begin to thrive with the help of Dr. Jay.

As a mental health Consultant and creative systemic therapist and founder of RE Engineering Well Being Consultancy, I am now living out the vision that I laid out for myself many years ago. I have gained mental clarity and learned strategies to help me navigate some of the deepest pains that we experiencing around grief and trauma. I had my own taste of grief when I was only in my 20s and I had a life transition of losing my husband raising our 4-week old baby. I was incomplete disarray but determined that if I did not lose my mind then I would master it. This personal grief of losing a loved one and the unspoken grief and loss surrounding it, is a battle no one should do alone. If you, have been stuck in your personal grief and trauma and are looking to be supported, this retreat is for you.

In my life, I have determined to turn from external chaos into internal peace and clarity. As a mental health therapist, global leadership strategist and motivational speaker, I have help thousands do the same and turn their chaos to clarity. I use my holistic approach to work life blends emotional intelligence, inclusive communication, and practical tools to help you thrive without burning out. In my talk When Business Beats Burnout, I will share how master the business of you without burnout.

I have been dancing since I learned to walk. Born in Hollywood, CA (a worldwide dance hub) and raised in Durham, NC (home of the American Dance Festival), movement is a part of my life. In 1991, I was recruited by former UNC-Chapel Hill Cheer Coach to join the FIRST All-Star Competitive Cheer Squad in North Carolina. In 1996, I again made history as the youngest captain for the Inaugural NFL Carolina Panthers Cheerleader Squad. I obtained my Bachelor's in Dance and two Master's Degrees (Exercise Science with a Sport Psychology Concentration and Mind-Body Medicine), and a Doctor of Psychology. As a Mind, Body, Spirit Integration Course Facilitator and Adjunct Professor at Saybrook University, I have been honored to mentor and support new Ph.D. and M.S. students entering the Mind-Body Medicine and Integrative Social Work Programs.
I believe that the Lord has given all of us limitless potential through our unique mind-body connection.

"This past August, I had the privilege of attending the “Redefining Self-Care as Luxury”: Finding Balance retreat in the breathtaking island of Dominica, and it was
nothing short of transformative.
From the moment I arrived at the stunning Jungle Bay Resort, nestled amidst Dominica’s emerald peaks and the sound of the Caribbean Sea, I knew I was in a
special place. The natural beauty of the “Nature Isle from its lush flora and fauna provided the perfect, serene backdrop for our inward journey.
The heart and soul of this experience were our exceptional facilitators, Dr. Janelle Chase-Mayers and Olivia Sobers. They created an environment of non-judgment and kindness where I felt safe to be vulnerable and reconnect with the quiet voice within that I had been ignoring for years. Dr. Jay brought a wealth of information that was both intellectually rigorous and deeply compassionate. She masterfully guided us through critical topics, reframing self-care not as a chore, but as a non-negotiable luxury. The sessions on the
importance of physiological care, the powerful process of releasing trauma and
untold stories, and writing a heartfelt goodbye letter to burnout were particularly life changing. Olivia complemented this perfectly with her nurturing energy and practical wisdom, ensuring every woman felt seen and heard. Our days were a beautiful blend of introspection and adventure. We started with daily morning walks and meditation, moved our bodies with workouts, yoga and hikes, and connected with nature through sunset kayaking and swims beneath majestic waterfalls. Every delicious, thoughtfully prepared meal: breakfast, lunch, and dinner were an opportunity for connection and that connection was the magic I
didn't know I needed. What began as a group of strangers quickly blossomed into a
sisterhood. We bonded over shared experiences, supported each other through vulnerable moments, and celebrated our individual breakthroughs. This retreat was more than a vacation; it was a recalibration of my soul. I left Dominica not just relaxed, but with a new sense of clarity, peace and commitment to carry this self-care forward with a beautiful community of women. "Three years ago, I embarked on a retreat called: Focus, Realign, Grow, with Janelle Chase-Mayers, and it was very instrumental in changing the direction of my life. From the beautiful setting to the daily presentations and activities, I felt as though I was in the right place, at the right time, with the right people. Hardly have I ever been in a room where I felt so comfortable to speak openly and express myself freely without feeling as though I was being judged or even that my experiences were unique.
The presenters shared their own life experiences which were gateways to me feeling at home. I was able to release my inhibitions and participate fully while being engaged and supportive to the other participants. As for the participants, we found ourselves referring to each other as family. I not only formed friendships over that short weekend, I found solace in others who, up to today, I can reach out to and not feel as though it’s an inconvenience.
